Job Overview
TE Connectivity’s Business Intelligence Teams are responsible for the processing, mining and delivery of data to their customer community through repositories, tools and services.
Roles & Responsibilities
Drive the development and analysis of data, Dash boarding and business intelligence programs primarily leveraging Tableau, Power BI and Microsoft SQL Server toolset.
Should be able to understand business and create visuals to empower users with information.
Should be able work with agile working methodologies.
Knowledge of data visualization principles is a must.
Strong Dashboard design experience and passionate practitioner of effective data visualization. Familiarity with best practices around visualization and design.
Knowledge about SQL and database concepts is a must.
Experience working with huge datasets is a must.
Experience with Big data, Cloud database.
Knowledge about Tableau server is added advantage.
Experience of creating custom visuals using JS (D3, Angular) is added advantage.
Working experience of streaming data is an added advantage.
Should be able to research new UI libraries and components from the Internet and bring into use.
Ability to learn new design principles from vast online resources and apply them.
Experience Required/Desired
Any relevant degree.
3-5 years of relevant work experience
Experience with Tableau, Power BI
Databases: SQL, Azure Data warehouse etc…

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Passion for using technology and data to solve business problems
Technical capabilities: Expert functional/domain knowledge
Strategic agility: Identifying relevant technology trends and opportunities and leveraging TE global technology to increase competitive position and increased value to customer
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to work with large amounts of information and see the ‘bigger picture’
Comfortable with juggling facts, figures, and number crunching
Communication skills, both written and oral
Critical thinking: able to look at numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.
