Role Statement:

TheContinuous Improvement Analystis responsible for Pricing process improvement, project management and pricing operations in driving efficiency, margin improvement and extraordinary customer experience (ECE) to internal/external customers by coordinating between business, operations, and channel pricing management. This role will drive improvements, synergies, and consistency across the four core pricing operations.

Responsibilities

This function reports directly to Director/Manager Channel and Enterprise Pricing.

Key Tasks :

  • Support the global development & implementation of pricing strategies and programs to maximize profitability.

  • Develop and implement process improvements within the four core operating areas of Pricing (Negotiation, Administration, Delivery, Measurement) to drive consistency and to support TE’s Extraordinary Customer Experience pillar.

  • Lead projects on the Segment Pricing Applications & System Intelligence on enhancement, maintenance of advanced pricing software and capability.

  • Develop and propose strategic commercial programs to optimize price and drive operating margin for business units.

  • Build cross functional and cross Business Unit relationships to gain alignment from peers, leaders, and stakeholders in the implementation of cross BU pricing projects.

  • Work Independently to Generate Conclusions Around Data to Measure Pricing Strategy Effectiveness, Summarize Analysis and Present Recommendations.

  • Support management, drive and lead project management meetings etc.

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives.

  • Able to understand the pricing business concepts and operational concepts and utilize the knowledge in driving the result quicker.

  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project life cycle.

Key Qualifications, Experiences and Knowledge

Required:

  • Minimum Masters degree; Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics

  • Proficient in Mandarin Language

  • 5 to 8 Years of in process improvement and project management

  • PMP Certification and Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certification

  • Scrum Master certification is a plus

  • Mandarin language is a plus

  • Able to work with global cross-functional team efforts

Experience with SAP and Advanced Pricing Software
