AQE Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

Your main tasks:

  • Responsible for all typical APQP deliverables from project initiation to SOP (Start of Production) and PPAP.

  • Advanced Quality Engineers (AQEs) are part of the core team of a new product development project and jointly evaluate customer requirements.

  • Participate in feasibility studies during design reviews within the concept, development, and industrialization phases.

  • Advanced Quality Engineering (AQE) is the main interface for all quality-related topics between the customer and TE during the new product development lifecycle.

  • Facilitate and guide the engineering team in creating FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) using the "APIS" software, including Design-FMEA and Process-FMEA, in accordance with VDA/AIAG standards.

  • Support and advise Manufacturing Engineering in the statistical data analysis regarding Measurement System Analysis (MSA) using QDAS software SOLARA.

  • Support and advise Manufacturing Engineering in the statistical data analysis regarding process capabilities (Cmk/Cpk) using QDAS software qs-STAT.

  • AQE engineers develop prototype and pre-launch control plans, including safe launch activities, within the project team during the new product development lifecycle.

  • AQE is responsible for the "zero incidents" principle to prevent related customer complaints (Lessons Learned).

  • AQE supports the core project team with knowledge of quality standards within the organization (preparing for internal/external audits, APQP training, quality awareness).

Your Profile:

  • Completed technical studies in an engineering field.

  • Several years of relevant experience would be advantageous.

  • Presentation skills.

  • Ability to lead topics with a structured approach (resilience, goal orientation).

  • Ability and interest in intercultural interaction.

  • Knowledge of APQP according to AIAG/VDA would be beneficial.

  • Familiarity with the FMEA methodology would be advantageous.

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949-2016.

  • Basic knowledge of VDA 6.3.

  • Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.

  • Basic knowledge of problem-solving methods.

  • Familiarity with various production processes (assembly, injection molding, etc.).

  • Willingness to travel within the EMEA region (25%).
