Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced leader in Environmental, Health, and Safety to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EHS management, compliance, and training within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement EHS policies and programs ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Conduct safety training for employees on compliance, hazardous material handling, and emergency response.

Maintain safety equipment, perform safety inspections, and recommend corrective actions.

Investigate incidents, prepare accident reports, and serve as the liaison for external agencies.

Review new products and processes for potential hazards and recommend safety modifications.

Oversee and support the company’s workers' compensation program.

Manage site EHS efforts, audits, and ensure timely submission of EHS reports.

Implement and maintain EMS in accordance with ISO 14001 standards.

Provide leadership and mentoring to site EHS resources.

Establish and oversee safety programs and committees.

Collaborate with regional EHS Manager on special assignments and share best practices.

Expectations:

7+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

Thorough knowledge of local, state, and national EHS regulations.

Experience in a multinational matrix organization is a plus.

Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Fluent in verbal and written English.

Willingness to travel if needed.
