Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Machinist Team's responsibilities include, assignment planning, layout, set up, operating and making tool adjustments for various types of manual, numerically controlled and computerized machine shop equipment. They work from blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions, communicating directly with engineers to understand the purpose of a part assembly. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

What your background should look like:

Objetivo:

Preparar herramientas, equipos auxiliares y acondicionar el espacio de trabajo segun criterios de calidad, seguridad e higiene.

Producir piezas maquinadas operando equipos CNC o Levas, respetando la documentación técnica, ontrolar y registrar la producción, analizando posibles acciones de mejora continua, identificando aspectos relacionados a la productividad, calidad e higiene, seguridad establecidas.

Experiencia:

  • TSU en mécanica o afín con conocimiento de maquinas y herramientas.

  • Experiencia minima de 3 años en CNC

  • Operación de equipos CNC (tornos, fresas y equipos de maquinado)

  • Maquinaria marca Haas, Nakamura, Citizen & Makino

  • Lectura e interpretación de planos

  • Conocimiento de dimensiones geometricas y tolerancias

  • Manejo y uso de equipos de medición (Vernier, micrómetro, gage de altura, micrometro de profundidad, entre otros)
