Job Overview

The ICT Sr. Manager - Sales Operations will be a thought leader who proactively identifies business needs to implement and execute strategies to support the global sales organization. This role will report to the VP of Sales and lead a global team focused on sales support processes, customer-facing projects, and demand management. These responsibilities include developing and executing the ICT Sales Incentive Plan, global demand forecasting, sales data and digital solutions, Salesforce CRM administration, sales support for training and onboarding, system enhancements, ICT global consignment, and shortage management. S/he is responsible for creating an optimal environment for the efficient and effective attainment of sales operations goals and fostering a culture of support and engagement in the sales organization. This role is critical to ensuring consistency of global sales strategy and execution of global projects that will optimize the sales team's effectiveness.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams with strong communication and cooperation skills.

  • Evaluate and implement tools and systems that streamline processes, reduce manual work, and enhance productivity.

  • Adapt to new technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

  • Determine and plan the allocation of resources within the ICT Sales Operations team.

  • Prioritize team development and foster cross-functional collaboration.

  • Executive presence to represent TE both internally/externally

Detailed Team Responsibilities:

  • ICT Sales Incentive Plan

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing administration of the Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) in partnership with human resources and sales leadership, and finance

  • ICT Sales Support

  • Collaborate with the regional sales teams to anticipate and respond to evolving business support requirements and needs.

  • Provide sales data analytics and solutions to help the sales organization gain insights and identify opportunities.

  • Ensure systems and tools are aligned and optimized to leverage insights for the global sales team.

  • Facilitate global sales onboarding with regional market and product onboarding plans.

  • Collaborative cross-functional reviews of customer agreements/contracts and identify areas of nonconformance.

  • Maintain ICT customer coding-related IBCs and the annual CRA process.

  • Salesforce/CRM Administration

  • Lead the development and implementation of CRM best practices and training programs to enhance sales organization performance.

  • Analyze pipeline data to provide details on pipeline conversion trends and opportunities.

  • Implement pipeline governance measures to ensure accuracy and alignment with business goals.

  • Identify key project opportunities to improve the win rate to accelerate sales growth.

What your background should look like:

  • Customer Consignment

  • Ensure successful strategic design, implementation, and administration of the ICT global consignment program.

  • Facilitate successful attainment of consignment KPIs to meet internal and external customer expectations.

  • Shortage Management (Allocation)

  • Strategic determination of allocation needs in relation to past due and escalation KPIs.

  • Design and execute a shortage management plan through cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations to mitigate targeted customer impact.

  • Track allocation attainment KPIs and provide regular reports and analyses to stakeholders.

  • Project Management

  • Coordinate BU and Enterprise organization changes that impact customers (footprint moves)

  • Broad customer notifications (part change notification)

Key Qualifications, Experiences & Knowledge:

  • 5+ year’s experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Support, or Sales roles

  • B.S. required, with considerations of past work experience.

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with other executives, functional leaders, and executives in a complex, global business environment.

  • Continuous improvement attitude: ability to develop and implement best practices.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing analytical initiatives.

  • Demonstrated ability to define, refine, and implement sales processes, procedures, and policies.

  • Strong understanding of key sales processes and functions and systems interdependencies.

  • Demonstrable experience building “Market Analytics” to support executive decision-making – TAM, PAM, SAM, Share Analysis, etc. - with “Executive Summaries and recommended actions.”

  • Experience overseeing the development of enterprise capabilities addressing global business strategies yet local business/functional needs.

  • Extensive experience with Salesforce.com and associated back-end systems and proven influence of operational best practices for the sales team. • Proven experience training sales staff and act as the company's sales operations expert

  • Self-starter with unquestionable integrity

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $146,000 – $218,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
