TOOLING INSPECTOR II

OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for Tool Room Spare part inspection (Die, Mold Spare parts inspector). Driving Quality Management Systems ISO & IATF, MIS reporting and Production quality, Supporting plant metrics for TE Operations advantages tools.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspection of spare parts.

  • Inspecting toolroom spare parts. (Finished spare parts like Stamping Punches, Molding Inserts, Assembly parts. Finished spare part from WEDM, SEDM, Grinding.)

  • Keeping track of all Spares in the tool room, including serial numbers and other identifying information.

  • Taking inventory of toolroom Spares.

  • Setting up measuring equipment Like Profile projector, VMS (Visual measuring system).

  • Approving or rejecting raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.

  • Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.

  • Maintain records of testing, information, and various metrics such as number of defective products per day etc.

  • Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards.

  • Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained and discard any that doesn’t meet requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years’ experience and practitioner in the field of QMS

  • QMS Knowledge, GD&T, ISO

  • Excellent Analytical, Delegation skills & Six sigma tools, CAD

  • Should have knowledge in all measuring tools

Job Overview

They evaluate and authorize changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project. At times, they may work directly with customers to understand needs, gather customer requirements, identify resources and assess project risks. They create, develop, plan, write and edit operational, instructional, maintenance or test procedures for paper, multimedia or web-based publication, for non-technical and technical users.
